Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLAT Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PLAT data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher PLAT Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLAT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
STAD, ESCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where PLAT Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
