Across TCGA patient cohorts, PLAT protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 13,407 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PLAT-associated genes across cancer lineages are BMERB1, NGFR, and CNN1. Each is linked with PLAT in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PLAT-to-partner and partner-to-PLAT results are reported.
