Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLAAT4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PLAAT4 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PLAAT4 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLAAT4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and CCRCC show a favorable association.
UCEC, CCRCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where PLAAT4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
