Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLA2G4C Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PLA2G4C data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher PLA2G4C Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLA2G4C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BRCA, THYM, and DLBC are the cancer types where PLA2G4C Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
