Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLA2G12B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PLA2G12B data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher PLA2G12B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLA2G12B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, CESC, and SKCM are the cancer types where PLA2G12B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
