Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PKP4-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PKP4-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher PKP4-AS1 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PKP4-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC and CESC show a favorable association.

LUSC, COAD, and MESO are the cancer types where PKP4-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
