Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PKP2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PKP2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher PKP2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PKP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
BLCA, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where PKP2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
