Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PKLR mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PKLR data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PKLR mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PKLR expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and GBM show a favorable association.

UCEC, CCRCC, and LSCC are the cancer types where PKLR mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
