Across TCGA patient cohorts, PKIG protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 17,029 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PKIG-associated genes across cancer lineages are CDC20, CASQ2, and KIF2C. Each is linked with PKIG in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PKIG-to-partner and partner-to-PKIG results are reported.
