Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PITX3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PITX3 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher PITX3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PITX3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC and BLCA are the cancer types where PITX3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
