Across TCGA patient cohorts, PITX2 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 24 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PITX2-associated genes across cancer lineages are HSP70, Rictor_pT1135, and 4E-BP1. Each is linked with PITX2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PITX2-to-partner and partner-to-PITX2 results are reported.
