Across TCGA patient cohorts, PITPNB mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 20 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PITPNB-associated genes across cancer lineages are eEF2, EGFR_pY1068, and eIF4E. Each is linked with PITPNB in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PITPNB-to-partner and partner-to-PITPNB results are reported.
