Across TCGA cell cohorts, PITPNB mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 4 significant associations in total. LUNG_NSCLC_LUAD shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible PITPNB-associated genes across cancer lineages are RTP2, WFDC5, and MRGPRG. Each is linked with PITPNB in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PITPNB-to-partner and partner-to-PITPNB results are reported.
