Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PIPSL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PIPSL data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher PIPSL Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PIPSL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD show a favorable association.
LUAD, DLBC, and SARC are the cancer types where PIPSL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
