Across TCGA patient cohorts, PIPOX protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 5,196 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PIPOX-associated genes across cancer lineages are THG1L, CCT8, and ANKRD27. Each is linked with PIPOX in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PIPOX-to-partner and partner-to-PIPOX results are reported.
