Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PIP4K2B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PIP4K2B data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PIP4K2B mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PIP4K2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and CCRCC show a favorable association.

UCEC, LSCC, and HNSC are the cancer types where PIP4K2B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
