Across TCGA cell cohorts, PIP RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 1,217 significant associations in total. BREAST shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PIP-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Positive regulation of secretion by cell, Positive regulation of chromosome separation, and Positive regulation of antimicrobial humoral response. Each is linked with PIP in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PIP-to-partner and partner-to-PIP results are reported.
