Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PIMREG Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PIMREG data layer compared with 33 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher PIMREG Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PIMREG expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
STAD, UCEC, and CHOL are the cancer types where PIMREG Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
