Across TCGA patient cohorts, PIMREG protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 9,392 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PIMREG-associated genes across cancer lineages are FAM136A, OIP5, and FANCD2. Each is linked with PIMREG in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PIMREG-to-partner and partner-to-PIMREG results are reported.
