Across TCGA cell cohorts, PIKFYVE RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,425 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Leukemia shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible PIKFYVE-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are 1-phosphatidyl-1D-myo-inositol 3,5-bisphosphate metabolic process, Peptidyl-serine autophosphorylation, and Negative regulation of gene expression, epigenetic. Each is linked with PIKFYVE in more than 18 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PIKFYVE-to-partner and partner-to-PIKFYVE results are reported.
