Across TCGA patient cohorts, PIK3R5 RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 23,056 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PIK3R5-associated proteins across cancer lineages are ARHGAP45, ARHGAP9, and PLEKHO2. Each is linked with PIK3R5 in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PIK3R5-to-partner and partner-to-PIK3R5 results are reported.
