PIK3CA

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, PIK3CA mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 13,082 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PIK3CA-associated genes across cancer lineages are PIK3R1, HMGCR, and FDFT1. Each is linked with PIK3CA in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PIK3CA-to-partner and partner-to-PIK3CA results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, PIK3R1 grouped by PIK3CA-low versus PIK3CA-high in CESC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (PIK3CA→partner) and Y-score (partner→PIK3CA) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
