PIK3CA

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → PROTEIN-RPPAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, PIK3CA mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 132 significant associations in total. STAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PIK3CA-associated genes across cancer lineages are Caveolin-1, PI3K-p85, and Smad1. Each is linked with PIK3CA in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PIK3CA-to-partner and partner-to-PIK3CA results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, Caveolin-1 grouped by PIK3CA-low versus PIK3CA-high in READ.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (PIK3CA→partner) and Y-score (partner→PIK3CA) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
