Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PIK3C2G RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PIK3C2G data layer compared with 11 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher PIK3C2G RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PIK3C2G expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG and OV show a favorable association.
SKCM, THCA, and LGG are the cancer types where PIK3C2G RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
