Across TCGA patient cohorts, PIF1 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,223 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PIF1-associated genes across cancer lineages are NDUFA8, CD24P1, and RNA5SP414. Each is linked with PIF1 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PIF1-to-partner and partner-to-PIF1 results are reported.
