Across TCGA patient cohorts, PICALM mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 41 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PICALM-associated genes across cancer lineages are ATM, EGFR_pY1068, and mTOR_pS2448. Each is linked with PICALM in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PICALM-to-partner and partner-to-PICALM results are reported.
