Across TCGA patient cohorts, PIBF1 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 32 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PIBF1-associated genes across cancer lineages are PCNA, GSK-3_pS9, and Acetyl-a-Tubulin-Lys40. Each is linked with PIBF1 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PIBF1-to-partner and partner-to-PIBF1 results are reported.
