Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PIAS4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PIAS4 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher PIAS4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PIAS4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRP, THYM, and PRAD are the cancer types where PIAS4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
