Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PHTF1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PHTF1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher PHTF1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PHTF1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
STAD, OV, and LIHC are the cancer types where PHTF1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
