Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PHOX2B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PHOX2B data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PHOX2B mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PHOX2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

UCEC, HNSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where PHOX2B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
