Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PHLDA2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PHLDA2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher PHLDA2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PHLDA2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
GBM are the cancer types where PHLDA2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
