Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PHLDA1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PHLDA1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher PHLDA1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PHLDA1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA are the cancer types where PHLDA1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
