Across TCGA patient cohorts, PHF8 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 55 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PHF8-associated genes across cancer lineages are EGFR, eIF4E, and CDK1. Each is linked with PHF8 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PHF8-to-partner and partner-to-PHF8 results are reported.
