Across TCGA cell cohorts, PHF8 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 5,130 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Leukemia shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PHF8-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Regulation of heterochromatin formation, Regulation of heterochromatin organization, and Negative regulation of heterochromatin organization. Each is linked with PHF8 in more than 19 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PHF8-to-partner and partner-to-PHF8 results are reported.
