Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PHF23 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PHF23 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher PHF23 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PHF23 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
THCA, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where PHF23 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
