Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PHBP8 RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PHBP8 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher PHBP8 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PHBP8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PCPG and READ show a favorable association.

MESO, PAAD, and OV are the cancer types where PHBP8 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
