Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PGS1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PGS1 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher PGS1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PGS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCS, LUSC, and SKCM are the cancer types where PGS1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
