Across TCGA patient cohorts, PGM5 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 14,658 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PGM5-associated genes across cancer lineages are PGM5-AS1, RASL12, and LYVE1. Each is linked with PGM5 in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PGM5-to-partner and partner-to-PGM5 results are reported.
