Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PGD mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PGD data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PGD mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PGD expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and CCRCC show a favorable association.

UCEC, LUAD, and CCRCC are the cancer types where PGD mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
