Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PGAM5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PGAM5 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), where higher PGAM5 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PGAM5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
READ and SKCM are the cancer types where PGAM5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
