Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PFN1P10 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of PFN1P10’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where PFN1P10 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types PFN1P10 is over-expressed in tumor.
STAD are the cancer types where PFN1P10 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
