Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PF4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PF4 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher PF4 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PF4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and COAD show a favorable association.

PDAC, UCEC, and LUAD are the cancer types where PF4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
