Across TCGA patient cohorts, PEX13 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 5,016 significant associations in total. LUAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PEX13-associated genes across cancer lineages are VPS36, N4BP2L1, and FRAS1. Each is linked with PEX13 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PEX13-to-partner and partner-to-PEX13 results are reported.
