Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDSS2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PDSS2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in testicular germ cell tumors (TGCT), where higher PDSS2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PDSS2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD show a favorable association.
TGCT, CESC, and SARC are the cancer types where PDSS2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
