Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDIA6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PDIA6 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher PDIA6 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PDIA6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, UCEC, and LGG are the cancer types where PDIA6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
