Across TCGA patient cohorts, PDGFRA mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 68 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PDGFRA-associated genes across cancer lineages are Cyclin-B1, Cyclin-E2, and p38-MAPK_pT180_Y182. Each is linked with PDGFRA in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PDGFRA-to-partner and partner-to-PDGFRA results are reported.
