Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDGFB Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PDGFB data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher PDGFB Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PDGFB expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA and PRAD are the cancer types where PDGFB Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
