Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDE9A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PDE9A data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher PDE9A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PDE9A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

THYM, LIHC, and LUSC are the cancer types where PDE9A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
