Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDE6D Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PDE6D data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher PDE6D Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PDE6D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

SKCM, PRAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where PDE6D Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
