Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDE4B RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PDE4B data layer compared with 7 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher PDE4B RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PDE4B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UVM and HNSC show a favorable association.

UVM, HNSC, and SKCM are the cancer types where PDE4B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
